Millionaire Mindset

I heard a statistic recently that said the average millionaire has 7 sources of income.  SEVEN!  While I am not too sure how accurate the source of that was, it got me thinking.  In this day and age, why are we limiting ourselves to just one path?  Clearly the more successful have already mastered this and become Jacks and Jills of all trades!

I know that personally, I have so many interests that in the past it has made it hard to figure out what my goals were for my life.  Even just deciding on a major in college was one of the most difficult decisions for me simply because I could see myself in so many different careers!  I even changed my mind halfway through from a BA in Communication Studies to what I graduated with, a BS in Exercise Physiology, and even after all that, I was still left wondering if I made the right choice.  While I am loving my current job as a personal trainer and see myself in this industry long-term, I find myself craving other things like a creative/artistic outlet, further education, etc.  Makes sense that people who are able to satisfy multiple areas of their interest are able to be more successful.

I don’t think anyone was meant to have just one passion in life and I am more determined than ever to make the absolute most of mine.  Love that through this blog I will be able to share and pursue more of what I love and I feel like having my goals in writing holds me more accountable.  I will never stop helping people through fitness but now that I have been able to reach that goal, I am so ready for the next.  (**Updates to come.)

If you are reading this and want to or are currently pursuing multiple avenues that you are passionate about, I would love to hear about them!  My next goal is to find a way to use my creativity to my advantage and break into the world of interior design.  Wish me luck and I can’t wait to keep you updated!
